All four day tours can be booked to begin any day of the week. We schedule these as open tours which begin on a Monday. Feel free to contact us for any other start day and we'll get you scheduled in for your four day tour of South or North Wales...

South and Mid Wales Guided Tour

We begin from Cardiff and take in these highlights before returning to Cardiff. Other start points can be by arrangement. Overnights in bold:

Join us on a 4-day guided tour exploring the beautiful sights of Wales.

On day 1, we will start our journey at the Big Pit Mining Museum, where you can learn about the rich mining history of the area. Next, we will visit the scenic Brecon Beacons and the charming town of Hay on Wye, known as the Town of Books. We will also explore the breathtaking Elan Valley and visit Devils Bridge before ending the day in Aberystwyth.

Day 2 will take us to the coastal town of New Quay, followed by a visit to St David's and the picturesque Bosherston Lily Ponds. We will then relax on the stunning Broad Haven South Beach and explore the quaint town of Tenby.

On day 3, we will discover Laugharne, visit the stunning coastal villages of Llanstephan and Llangennith and witness the magnificent landscapes of Rhossili. We will also explore the vibrant city of Swansea and the beautiful Mumbles.

Finally, on day 4, we will visit the enchanting Pontneddfechan waterfall, Sgwd Gwladys, the historic Cyfarthfa Castle Museum, the well-preserved Llancaiach Fawr Manor which is a 'living museum', and the impressive Castell Coch.

We can try to add into the itinerary others places that you want to go to, if they are not too far off route. We will have time for the Wales Coast Path and the wonderful beaches of South and West Wales. Castles and ruins and quaint villages abound as do stunning landscapes and engaging heritage.

We travel in a seven-seater vehicle and the fully insured driver/guide will ensure safe and pleasant transport from highlight to highlight, stopping off for photos and rest stops along the way.

North Wales Guided Tour

We begin from Chester and take in these highlights before returning to Chester. Other start points can be by arrangement. Overnights in bold:

Embark on a captivating four night day of North Wales, immersing yourself in the rich history and breathtaking landscapes of this enchanting region.

Day 1 we'll visit the magnificent Conwy Castle, followed by a stroll along the beach at Newbrough Grange to the two unique peninsula lighthouses. We'll visit Llanfair­pwllgwyngyll­gogery­chwyrn­drobwll­llan­tysilio­gogo­goch for an iconic photo. The day concludes with a visit to Caernarfon and its impressive castle.

Day 2 takes you to the scenic Llyn Peninsula and an ancient church and the Welsh Language Centre, the quaint town of Porthmadog and the unique Italianate village of Portmeirion. Discover Beddgelert's beauty and myths before overnighting in the climbers town of Llanberis.

On Day 3, embark on the Snowdon Mountain Railway, to the summit, witness the awe-inspiring Swallow Falls, and explore the charming village of Betws Y Coed. We'll continue the journey to Blaenau Ffestiniog and visit the rather excellent Slate Museum before ending the day in the serene lakeside town of Bala.

Day 4 brings you to the majestic Pystyll Rhayader waterfall, the iconic Froncysyllte Viaduct, the historic town of Llangollen, and the captivating rock architecture of Worlds End.

PLEASE NOTE: All tours are inclusive of admission to attractions, transport, accommodation and a professional guide. Tours depart from Cardiff National Museum, Chester Railway Station or your hotel by arrangement. Tours are 9am start on day 1 and finishing at 4pm on day 4. Where an attraction is closed an alternative will be included. These tours take place in all weathers and appropriate clothing ought to be available. Lunch and evening meal are not included.
