Mumbles

'Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit Mumbles, a charming coastal village located in Swansea, Wales. The village itself was bustling with activity, with locals and tourists alike enjoying the quaint shops, cafes, and restaurants. I couldn't resist indulging in some of 'Joe's Icecream'. The atmosphere was lively and friendly, with families enjoying picnics on the grassy areas and children playing on the sandy shores. I made my way to the iconic Mumbles Pier and from there watched the sky and ocean merge. It was truly a memorable experience that highlighted the beauty and charm of Mumbles.'

Gower Heritage Centre

It's a great spot to charge up the electric vehicle, stop for lunch and have a tour of the 12th Century mill and assorted collection of Gower heritage items in the unique and sprawling centre situated in the south centre of the Gower. The cider is homemade and on occasion we've sat eating our sandwiches as the staff press the apples using an ancient and by hand corkscrew press. The mill is often turning and grinding flour to make bread. A range of traditional to the Gower crafts abound at this rather lovely and quirky privately owned tourist attraction. Oh, and the sell great coffee and great pasties and great cakes too :) There is time to browse the museum at your leisure and enjoy the wares offered in the small gift shop.
