Explore ancient copper mines and castles, stroll to waterfalls and mountain lakes, and uncover the world of slate miners and Neolithic tombs. Highlights include Caernarfon Castle, the Great Orme, Portmeirion’s Italianate village, and the legendary Gelert’s Grave in Beddgelert.

Guests arrange their own accommodation for the two nights in Betws-y-Coed, giving you the freedom to choose a stay that suits your style and budget — from cosy guesthouses to elegant hotels. This flexibility makes your experience even more personal and ensures every tour feels truly your own.

3-Day West Wales Guided Tour

We begin from Cardiff and take in these highlights before returning to Cardiff or other locations on the return journey.

3-Day South Wales Guided Tour

This is a 'pick and mix' product, having you based in Cardiff, Newport or another convenient South Wales location.

Our three 'From Cardiff' Day Tours offer a glimpse into the history, landscape and life of the people of Wales unlike no other! We also have a Cardiff City Centre orientation walking tour and, through our partner business, Wales Outdoors, some great hikes such as our ever-popular waterfalls hike or perhaps a sunset wander to the summit of Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales. Choose from:

• Three Castles, Roman Caerleon and Tintern Abbey

• Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Hay-on-Wye, Medieval and Industrial Heritage

• The Gower Tour - Mumbles, Three Cliffs And Worms Head

• A variety of hikes (we recommend the waterfalls!)
